SWISS has unveiled a full retrofit of their Airbus A340 aircraft, selecting Thompson Aero Seating for their new First Class and Business Class seats. Premium passengers who travel on the A340 routes to Tokyo are the first to get the refreshed cabins this week! All five of the star Alliance member’s long range A340s are being upgraded to largely bring them up to the same spec as Swiss flagship Boeing 777-300ER jets which already fly a fully customised version of the Thompson Vantage Business Class seat. The new A340 47 seat Business Class cabin will still include the well-known and highly sought after ‘throne seats’.
